    Description
    JOB PROFILE
    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Product Owner to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background combined with product management expertise.

    As a Technical Product Owner, you will bridge the gap between our development teams and business stakeholders, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products that meet customer needs and drive business growth.


    KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Product Vision and Strategy:
    Define and communicate product vision and strategy, align technical product strategy with business objectives and customer needs


    Backlog and Lifecycle Management:

    Create, prioritize, and manage the product backlog, write user stories and acceptance criteria, and manage the entire product lifecycle from design through to launch and beyond.



    Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    Work closely with development teams, act as a liaison between the team and business stakeholders, and facilitate communication between stakeholders, designers, developers, and QA teams.



    • Sprint Planning and

    Agile Methodologies:

    Lead sprint planning sessions, daily stand-ups, and scrum agile ceremonies, champion agile methodologies, and ensure the development team understands tasks and priorities.



    Stakeholder Engagement and Feedback:

    Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, gather and incorporate feedback from users and stakeholders into the product development process.



    • Problem Solving and

    Risk Management:
    Understand complex technical issues and facilitate problem-solving discussions and identify and mitigate risks throughout the product development process.


    Team Leadership:
    Lead and motivate the technical product team, fostering an environment of collaboration and motivation.


    Quality Assurance:

    Ensure the final product meets high-quality standards and work with QA teams to define test plans and ensure thorough testing.

    The responsibilities detailed above are not exhaustive and you may be requested to take on additional responsibilities deemed reasonable by your direct line manager.


    Our Technology Stack:
    Python, Linux, Airflow, AWS DynamoDB, S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, lambda, API Gateway, Terraform, CI/CD

    SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

    • Proven experience in technical product management or a related role, with strong expertise in software development processes and technologies.
    • Proven ability to define and communicate product vision and strategy that aligns with business objectives and customer needs.
    • Extensive experience managing the entire product lifecycle, including backlog management, writing user stories, and overseeing product development.
    • Strong advocate of agile methodologies with experience leading sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and scrum ceremonies.
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions, drive solutions, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Proven leadership skills, including mentoring technical teams, using data and analytics to inform decisions, and managing stakeholder expectations.
