About The Role
We market our products and build the strength of our brand by helping potential and existing customers, most of whom begin their journey on a search engine.
As part of the next phase of our content strategy, we are keen to build on these resources for our extensive catalogue of materials to drive sales and increase the amount of impact that we have.
As part of our scientific content team, you will:- Produce desk-based content around our range of materials, including general introductions, theory guides, how-to articles, literature reviews, and FAQs.
- Work with our graphic designer to produce videos, diagrams, and other media.
- Characterise materials and produce content that demonstrates core techniques.
- Collaborate with external writers to help us become the best source of information on materials science and chemistry for all knowledge levels, from beginner to expert.
- Produce informative product and category pages with input from our lead chemist.
- Analyse search data to find and prioritise new content opportunities.
- Work closely with our existing content, website, and marketing team, as well as with our team of chemists, product engineers, and external collaborators.
About You
- You have a PhD in chemistry, physics, materials science, or a related field.
- You have a chemistry degree or a strong and demonstrable purechemistry background.
- Your experience includes scientific writing, or you have a demonstrable skill for writing.
- You are a great communicator and an excellent writer.
- You are able to learn about new topics quickly and feel comfortable writing outside of your core expertise with input from our team of chemical product managers.
- You organise and manage your projects efficiently with mínimal supervision.
- You have demonstratable experience working competently and safely in a lab environment.
