Description
A Business Support Administrator is required by a family owned specialist steelwork fabricator based on Canvey Island.


What you'll be doing:

  • Working closely with the Director, assisting in coordinating, hiring and offhiring and tracking of all plant hire
  • Parking all staff on site via app
  • Ensuring site passes and site manuals are prepared for new and ongoing jobs
  • Assisting the Quality Manager with Health and Safety and Compliance tasks
  • Processing and signing off invoices using PO spread sheet / Month end reconciliations / Credit Card management
  • Assist in social media
  • Ensure meetings rooms are prepared for meetings including refreshments and any paperwork
  • Answer all incoming calls, transfer to the relevant individual and take messages in their absence
  • Handling the incoming and outgoing post
  • Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary
  • Ensure records and files are kept up to date at all times
  • Monitor office expenses and costs
  • Assisting the accounts department with day to day accounting tasks
  • Assist in HR Administration

Skills helpful for the role:

  • Proficient with MS Office products
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Good attention for detail
