*Prolog Fulfilment Ltd* has over 30 years' experience of partnering with brands to develop their business, with two multi-user warehouses, totaling 250,000 sq.
ft, along with a Contact Centre based in Sudbury Suffolk – overall employing circa 240 staff members.Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven *Commercial Manager* to join their existing team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, managing commercial activities, and contributing to the strategic development of the company.
*What you need to apply for this role:This role encompasses a blend of commercial management and business development responsibilities, including new business proposals, customer contract renewals, rate card updates, customer reviews, and management information plans.
*Key areas of responsibility*:*Commercial Strategy & Execution*Support the development and responsible for the implementation of commercial strategies in line with company goals, whilst monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
*Business Development*:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's client base and prepare and present proposals to potential new clients, ensuring alignment with company capabilities and client needs.
*Customer Relationship Management*:Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, whilst handling contract renewals and negotiations, ensuring favourable terms for the company.
*Customer Development*:
Analyse customer data to identify patterns and trends and develop strategies to improve the performance of each customer, whilst working closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to enhance their experience and outcomes.
*Financial Oversight*:Develop and manage budgets for commercial activities and monitor financial performance, providing reports and analysis to senior management.
*Cross-functional Collaboration*:
Work closely with the operations, finance, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive execution of commercial strategies, whilst providing commercial input to product development and service delivery.
*Salary/hours: *£35,000 - £40,000 per year. Working Monday to Friday between the hours of 09.00am – 5.30pm, some flexibility is required surrounding these hours, with one hour for lunch each day.*Benefits:* 21 days holiday, plus Bank Holidays
