    • Location: West Ham
    • Position: Learning Support Assistant - Challenging Behaviour
    • Start Date: Immediate (ASAP)
    • Duration/Expected Duration: 1 year, with potential for extension
    • End Date: Not specified
    • Contract Type: Temporary, possibility for permanent employment
    • Work Schedule: Full-time only
    • Minimum Daily Rate: £100 per day
    • Working Hours: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm (full day)

    Are you passionate about education and looking for a new challenge? Do you have a strong commitment to Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) education, and are you eager to learn and take on new challenges?
    We're currently seeking knowledgeable graduates interested in supporting primary and secondary-aged students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Needs (SEMH), as well as Behavioural Difficulties.

    Position Overview:
    • This opportunity is within a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU), which supports children excluded from mainstream education or those requiring additional support.
    • The primary goal of the PRU is to reintegrate students into mainstream education, and we're seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team.

    • Resilience, determination, and dedication, recognizing the challenges of the role but finding it ultimately rewarding.
    • Previous experience working with SEND children or managing behavioural difficulties is preferred.
