ABOUT THE JOB.


The Retail Sales Administrator will provide key assistance and support to the Customer Managers and Finance Business Partners across key accounts.

The role will ensure key processes, spreadsheets and data is analysed and maintained on a timely basis.

The role will ensure accurate customer agreements are created; claims are processed and coordinate new product line and promotion nominations forms accurately and on time.


The Retail Sales Administrator will also engage with our customers to provide support with ad hoc reports, maintain key trackers and escalate any queries with claims to reach satisfactory conclusion.

You will also be responsible for

  • Agreements working in partnership with Customer Manager to take responsibility for the management of the internal promotion processes.


  • Pricing

  • Prevention of pricing claims through performance of customer pricing checks as appropriate to ensure alignment between customer systems, McCain systems and forecast files at any point in time in accordance with the current approved agreement with the customer.


  • Claims

  • In partnership with the Commercial Finance Business Partners look at ways of streamlining the endtoend approval process whilst maintaining appropriate segregation of duties from logging, matching, validating and approving all customer related invoices and trade spend management. Immediate escalation of any invalid claims to the appropriate Customer Manager and supporting in ensuring resolution


  • New Line Forms

  • In partnership with the Customer Managers ensure timely submission of the relevant documentation and product samples.


  • Promotion Nominations

  • In partnership with the Customer Managers ensure timely submission of the relevant documentation. Working collaboratively with internal and external functions to ensure alignment in terms of dates and planned volumes.
  • Customer Ad hoc Reporting
  • Responsibility for updating internal trackers as defined by each Customer Manager such as EPOS trackers and customer promotion plans. This will include building knowledge of Retailer internal systems and understanding how we best use the information available to build our understanding of the customer dynamics

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR


You'll have experience of working within a Commercial or Customer Sales environment and you'll be passionate about delivering the best result for our customers.

We're looking for someone who is a confident communicator both written and verbal, as well as commercial awareness and knowledge of retail sales market trends.

You'll also have

  • Ability to influence across all levels of the team
  • Good computer skills and familiar working with different data bases.
  • Able to adopt a flexible approach to meet the needs of the business and the customer
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Competent in the use of Outlook and Microsoft Office including Teams
  • Ability to work on your own and as a team.
  • Have strong analytical skills
  • Working in a fastpaced environment
  • Planned and organised
