Description

We are looking for a passionate Nursery Assistant to join our dedicated team on a full-time basis. As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the nursery and contributing to the care, education, and development of young children.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging activities to support children's learning and development.
Create a nurturing and safe environment for children.
Assist children with personal care tasks following safeguarding policies.
Supervise and interact with children during playtime to encourage exploration and creativity.
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records.
Implement nursery policies including health and safety measures.
Maintain a stimulating learning environment.
Participate in training and development opportunities.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting.
Passion for working with children.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Flexibility and commitment to safeguarding children.
Valid enhanced DBS check.
