Insight Executive Group is proud to be working exclusively on behalf of Atlas BFW Management Ltd (Atlas), a wholly owned subsidiary of Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, to source a Director of Operations.

This is a permanent role payingc.£110k.


Supporting the Managing Director, your primary purpose is to provide safe, high-quality services whilst ensuring that the Company meets its statutory, regulatory, corporate governance, financial and contractual obligations.


You will be a values-driven, inclusive leader with a proven track record of working at a senior level to achieve business objectives.

You will be able to demonstrate experience in building and managing high performing teams, achieving sustained service improvementand in developing productive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities


The Director of Operations has responsibility for ensuring that the organisation meets all its statutory and contractual obligations whilst driving continuous improvement.

Within this role, you will also be expected to:


  • Provide strategic and operational leadership on all aspects of the business;
  • Promote a culture where employees are empowered and motivated to take personal responsibility and commit themselves to the objectives of the Company;
  • Build strong relationships between the Company and its Clients and the wider local health and care system and business community; and,
  • Ensure that Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHF FT site is an exemplar site and to provide assurance to the shareholder (the parent company) that their site is fully compliant and is safe.


This role is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading Estates, Facilities & Property Management Company with clients across the Fylde Coast, Lancashire and South Cumbria.

You will use your experience to actively contribute to the strategic development ofthe company and to ensure that Atlas has the capacity, capability, leadership and culture to deliver truly outstanding performance.

Atlas BFW Management Ltd (Atlas) began trading in March 2017 and was established as a wholly owned subsidiary company of Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

We provide fully managed healthcare facilities services including; capital, estates,facilities, transport and medical devices management to clients across the Fylde Coast, Lancashire and South Cumbria area.

Our ambition is to provide the best high quality, cost-effective property and facilities services across the North West.
