    Lead Studio Engineer

    Exciting Opportunity as a Lead Studio Engineer in the Automotive Industry

    We are collaborating with a top-notch organization specializing in the design, development, and global manufacturing of unique vehicles who is in search of a skilled Lead Studio Engineer to contribute to new vehicle platforms.

    As a Lead Studio Engineer, you will bring your expertise in supporting the creation and continuous enhancement of the client's exceptional designs for new vehicle platforms.

    Key Responsibilities of a Lead Studio Engineer:

    • Offering studio engineering assistance from initial concept creation to prototype development, production, and vehicle launch.
    • Creating CAD designs using Catia to support the ongoing progress of new vehicles.
    • Addressing daily package and feasibility issues with Design, Clay/Digital Modelling, and Engineering teams by proposing top-notch solutions.
    • Conducting surface and design reviews to identify and clarify areas of concern.
    • Contributing to the VCIM (Vehicle Concepts Integration Meeting) process.
    • Developing technical proposals, vehicle overlays, comparison sections, data sheets, and presentations to be showcased at design reviews.
    • Ensuring compliance with legislative requirements regarding vision angles/zones within Design Surface Models.
    • Validating and distributing data among Engineering, Modelling, Manufacturing, and Suppliers.
    • Assisting the core engineering team in creating the Master Sections Book.
    • Reviewing incoming data to confirm feasibility and alignment with design intent.

    Required Skills and Experience for a Lead Studio Engineer:

    • Experience in working as a Studio Engineer in a design environment focusing on new vehicle concepts.
    • Proficiency in CAD (Catia).
    • Understanding of vehicle setup/packaging requirements.
    • Generating ideas along with action plans, demonstrating idea feasibility.
    • Managing a project element while aiding in delivering module requirements up to the program's designated gateway.
