About the Role
Edge Hill University is seeking to appoint an Acting Head of Finance. You will provide leadership and management to the finance and accounting teams and oversee the university's financial operations (including Financial Operations, Accounts and Systems, Payroll and Pensions, Insurance and Procurement).
Ensuring the delivery of all finance related returns to external bodies, you will also encourage a culture of financial control and accountability throughout the University, establishing and embedding strategic financial management and business partnership support to faculties and professional services.
With lead responsibility for procurement within the University, you will develop and ensure effective implementation and review of procurement strategy and systems. Your excellent communication skills, relationship building skills, and customer and business focus will enable you to influence and proactively work with internal stakeholders and represent the University effectively on external groups.
