Page Personnel are partnering with a successful business who are looking to hire a Credit Controller in their accountancy team on a full time permanent basis.

Client Details

Our client is a successful business who have seen rapid growth in the past 12 months. They are based in Poole and require travel to their offices but offer a hybrid model of working.

Description

As the Credit Controller, you will be responsible for:

Manage your own portfolio of allocated debtor accounts by:
Ensure payments are received within the agreed payment terms
Chasing mixed value aged and current debt mainly by telephone, or/and by email
Resolving all associated credit control queries and escalating problematic accounts to the Senior Credit Controller
Raise and send monthly statements at the beginning of each month
Reconciliation of accounts and projects
Ad hoc: Manually raising proforma invoices, invoices, and credit notes in a timely manner. Including uploading to relevant customer portals
Answering incoming telephone calls & taking card payments
General administration including creation and management of customer accounts

Profile

To be successful for the Credit Controller position, you must:

1-2 years experience as Credit Controller
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Confidence to deal with customers via telephone and email
Strong Microsoft Office software particularly Excel
Excellent attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to use own initiative and work to tight deadlines
Self-motivated, confident, and persistent

Job Offer

Salary £22,000 - £28,000
