Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning and DevelopmentSpecialist to work across our 5 Practices and Medical Centres, they will beresponsible for the implementation, co-ordination and development of employeetraining and development programmes. This is a new role, created to supporttraining and development across our organisation and develop organization widestrategies and economies of scale in this area.
The successful candidate will work 29 hours per week, reporting to the HR Director and willhave the opportunity to shape the development of this area across our largemulti-site GP Partnership. The L&D Specialist will need to work acrossvarious different teams and sites and will need to work with both seniormanagers and lead clinicians to identify needs and deliver training solutions.
Main duties of the job
Co-ordinate learning, development and people planninginitiatives across the Partnership.
Administer (and where appropriate deliver) learning anddevelopment programmes at a business wide level.
Assess business wide training needs and ensure smoothexecution of training programmes and future people planning.
Collaborate across departments, sites and with the broaderNHS to identify learning and development needs.
Source relevant training and developmentresources, opportunities, and programmes in the most cost-effective manner.

Job descriptionJob responsibilities

Be the point of contact for and administrative expertin training, development and education delivered by the Wyre Forest HealthPartnership. Both to internal employees and to external trainees (Such asMedical Students, Junior Doctors, Registrars, Nurse Trainees etc.).
Support employees and other trainees in ensuringaccess to educational and development needs, including maintaining accuraterecords and completing documentation, reports and compliance.
Assess organizational educational and developmentalneeds, collaborate with site leads and key stakeholder to determine and addressskill gaps and training requirements.
Work with stake holders to develop and deliver trainingsessions, including setup, technical support, and participant registration.Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of training and development programmes.
Administer and co-ordinate Partnership Apprenticeshipsroles and Apprenticeship Budget.
In this role you will share collectiveresponsibility with Clinicians (Lead Nurse and Lead GPs) for:
Developing Clinicians and supporting Clinical Training.
Supporting Administrativerequirements of Clinical Education.
