    North Liverpool based Catholic School
    September 2024 – July 2025 (full years contract)
    £A graded 'GOOD' Catholic School located in Bootle, North Liverpool, have approached Teaching Personnel in order to source a year 1 teacher to work full-time from September 2024 until July 2025. The school have approached Teaching Personnel as we hold a Service Level Agreement with Catholic Schools under the Archdiocese of Liverpool. The permanent class teacher is 'taking a leave of absence' and the school have decided to implement a long-term plan in order to gain the consistency with the children in the class. The cover role will be to start in September and will run full-time for a minimum of 12 months. The Business Manager in School has noted that the role will potentially last longer so the appointment could be considered more longer term.

    The CV must state your recent experience working in a KS1 class and also state how you have improved attainment in school.

    The school are open to all candidates applying, from ECTs to UPS Teachers.

    The school does fall under the Archdiocese of Liverpool and so it is important that you are able to respect and uphold the Catholic Faith in school.

    The school is situated in a deprived area of North Liverpool and the children tend to arrive from socially deprived backgrounds; The Head is very supportive and welcoming and will set up a number of meetings with the English and Maths Lead teachers in school in order to plan effectively.

    The school use Read Write Inc Phonics as their school-wide Phonics scheme and it is therefore important that you have experience working alongside these.
