    Description
    We are looking for a passionate NDT Engineer to join our Pipeline Group. This is a full-time, staff role and will support the team at our facility in Old Kilpatrick, Glasgow.

    As NDT Engineer, you will be responsible for the oversight of all pipeline tender and project NDT activities, in addition to assisting the NDT Manager in the achievement of the strategic objectives of the Pipeline Group Production Technical Department.

    Develop and provide effective interfaces with clients, other departments, and NDT Subcontractors.
    Evaluation of risks and opportunities.
    Manage delivery of NDT during project preparation and execution:
    Define Project Scope of Work and review 3rd party technical proposals.
    Review and approve procedures for all aspects of project NDT work with specific focus on Automated Ultrasonic Testing.
    Maintain progress against the project schedule taking ownership of actions.
    Develop and improve tools and systems to enable NDT Inspectors to execute and deliver projects more effectively.

    Previous experience in offshore Oil and Gas pipeline construction NDT.

    PCN level 2:
    UT, MT, PT (welds category).
    Working knowledge of Major Oil and Gas Company Pipeline NDT Specifications.
    PCN Level 3 (any technique).

    PCN level 2:
    RT, ToFD, Phased Array.
    Auditing of AUT interpretation and NDT results.
    NDT experience during Offshore Oil and Gas pipeline fabrication (spoolbase / lay barge).
    Supervisory / Project Management experience.
    Demonstrates effective planning and awareness of overall company objectives.
    Builds and enhances relationship with clients and subcontractors.
