Description
This is a great opportunity to head up the HRIS function within CMC Markets, looking after the Workday system on a global level.
This role is responsible for the maintenance and development of Workday including process improvements, implementation of new modules, troubleshooting and so forth.
As a team of 2, you will be in the weeds as well as strategic and interacting with other areas of HR as well as the business i.e.
IT, department heads, CFO etc.
This is a great role for someone looking to expand in all areas of the system including HCM, Advanced Compensation, Absence, Onboarding, Recruitment, Integrations, Talent, Learning etc.
Upcoming projects – payroll vendor change, skills framework, dashboard building for dept heads
The role will support the global business and HR teams in London and Sydney as follows:
Vendor management with Workday and AMS provider.
Headcount Budgeting / Workforce planning
Manage any new implementation of modules, integrations and so forth.
Champion Workday internally
Escalation point for queries
MI reporting where required
Maintaining user guides/documentation for employee/HR use
Support the training provisions of Workday within the business
Managing Workday upgrades and releases
Pro-actively reviewing, suggesting and implementing improvements
Maintain the intranet's Workday page
Supporting with audit requests – Internal and External
Integration maintenance and troubleshooting
Manage the annual roll-out of performance review, compensation review, budget review and other processes
Light touch work with the former HR system (Oracle EBS)
Key Skills and Experience
Experience working within a HR department
Management experience
Proven experience with Workday
Experience with modules HCM (essential), Advanced Compensation (essential),
Absence (desirable), Integrations (desirable),
Recruiting, Talent, Learning, Onboarding (advantageous)
Strong configuration experience in updating business processes, absence plans, compensation and performance templates and so forth.
Report writing experience, able to create sophisticated reports and calculated fields and work with dashboards
Knowledge of Workday security roles (desirable)
Experience working with EMEA and/or APAC regions (UK, Australia are advantageous)
Project Management experience (advantageous)
Proven ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
