    Back End Developer | Opus Recruitment Solutions |UK

    The Role:

    The main responsibility will be to build and deploy API's, youwill be expected to create with a product mindset as our end userexperience is paramount.

    Build and deploy APIs for interconnected servicesDesign APIs for clients and partners (authentication / versioning /documentation)Design and develop ETL pipelines using Python and AWS servicesHelp prioritise our backlog with a balance between short-termdeliverables and longer-term investment in our technologyEffectively communicate trade-offs to other areas of the businessCollaborate with the whole development team to influence systemarchitecture and feature designDesign, test, and deploy new features in a continuous and iterativemannerWork autonomously on projects from start to finish, and be responsiblefor the code you write.

    Key RequirementsSeveral years experience as a backend engineerExperience with AWS:
    ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, SNS/SQSStrong testing practices, especially Test Driven DevelopmentExperience with Enterprise Integration PatternsAn end-to-end systems-mindset; we are building a product that shouldgrow itself and require minimal intervention from our teamExperience working in a close knit, collaborative, rapidly growingteamThe ability to work in a highly agile environment, using CI/CDpracticesA passion for creating products that are user-friendly and contributeto our product-led growth strategyA knack for identifying good UXFluency in English, with excellent written and verbalcommunicationNice to have: Experience with Event Driven Architecture and Systemarchitecture Show more Show lessTagged as: remote, remote job, virtual, Virtual Job,virtual position, Work at Home, work from home
