- Being able to work independently and efficiently

- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area and workstations neat, ensuring clear good in and out areas, maintaining clean shipping supply area
- Assistance with stock takes
- To carry out any other ad hoc duties as the company may require
- Operate Forklift Truck (license advantageous, but not essential)
- Assist with Goods Inwards and Despatch Desk to ensure orders leave on time
- May include assembling and wiring various products as specified on the job sheet, tasks will include final assembly of finished items using basic hand tools, picking and packing items for despatch (training can be provided where necessary).
Requirements - Must be extremely detail orientated, well organised and have a good team mentality
- Knowledge of MS Word and Outlook
- Ability to communicate across teams up to and including Directors
- Experience in a warehouse environment or similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to prioritise tasks within set deadlines
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 20kg
- Punctual with good attendance levels

One of the Dutypoint group divisions, Flowtech Water Solutions, is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Assistant to join their team in Wigan. Flowtech are a water services and water booster specialist, working nationally with local councils, design engineers, mechanical contractors and end users.
Working in a team of 5, you will mainly be picking and packing orders, liaising with Manufacturing and dealing with couriers to arrange despatch of goods to customers.
There will also be some basic computer work and you will be responsible for maintaining ISO standards, ensuring serial numbers are logged accurately, inputting courier details and preparing courier paperwork.
You must be physically fit and able as there will be some lifting involved. Experience on machinery such as pallet trucks or forklift trucks is advantageous, however this is not essential as training can be provided. A friendly individual with a can do approach is sought.
Hours of Work
Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 5pm (30 minute lunch break; 15 minute morning break; 15 minute afternoon break).
