Care and Support Team Leader - Part Time
Poplar House, Basildon
£11.35
30 hours per week available - to include occasional weekends and evenings
We are seeking an experienced Care and Support Team Leader to support a team of Care and Support Assistants in making a real difference to the lives of our residents.
Set in a quiet, residential area of Basildon, Poplar House is a purpose-built development providing high-quality homes for the over 55's, with a range of on-site services and facilities.

The role of Care and Support Team Leader will include:
Supervising and supporting a team of Care and Support Assistants
Assessing the needs of our residents, writing and updating support plans
Managing and monitoring plans to ensure a high standard of care and support is offered
Identifying and reporting hazards and faults, completing risk assessments and ensuring equipment is kept in working order
Managing the development of staff to ensure skilled staff are available to meet business needs
Skills and experiences:
Proven experience in a care and support environment is essential
Previous experience in a staff supervision role is desirable
Good interpersonal and customer care skills
Experience with working to deadlines and prioritising workloads
