Description

Drivers Direct Recruitment are looking to recruit a
Class 2 Drivers on behalf of our client to join their team in
Leyland.


Job Role:


  • Nationwide deliveries.


  • Multi drop

  • Manual cage deliveries to garden centres.
  • Monday-Friday
  • Start time vary depending on the run.
  • May involve occasional nights out.

Pay rate:

- £14.75ph (rate is inclusive of holiday pay).


Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures.
  • Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures.
  • To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner.
  • To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift.

Essential Skills:


  • Good communication skills.
  • Good customer relations.
  • Have a safe driving record.
  • Hold a valid HGV 2 / Cat C licence.
  • No more than 6 minor penalty points.
  • No DR's, IN's or DD's offence codes due to insurance stipulations.
  • Driver qualification (CPC) card.
  • Digital tacho card.

  • HGV 2 Driving: 1 year (preferred)

  • Driver CPC Card (required)
  • Digital Tacho Card (required)
