    Job Title: Cluster Director of Groups & Events
    Company: Marriott International

    The Job Role

    We are seeking a dynamic leader with a strategic sales approach to oversee sales, event, and group planning for five vibrant properties in Central London:

    • London Marriott Hotel County Hall
    • London Marriott Hotel Marble Arch
    • London Marriott Hotel Kensington
    • London Marriott Hotel Regents Park
    • London Marriott Hotel Maida Vale

    Working with a diverse client base, including corporate, leisure, and specialist groups, you will focus on creating personalized services and building strong relationships that set our hotels apart from the competition.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Achieve group and banquet budgets through strategic pricing
    • Lead reactive sales team managers
    • Collaborate with sales and revenue teams on strategies
    • Ensure high event satisfaction standards
    • Prepare and approve RFPs, forecasts, and budgets

    The Cluster Director of Groups & Events manages event bookings, works closely with hotel management, and reports on operational matters and sales results.

    Requirements

    • Previous experience in a similar role
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Numeracy and strong service orientation
    • Leadership experience with resilience
    • Proficiency in MS Office programs
    • Caring attitude towards customers and associates
    • Familiarity with OPERA is a plus
