    Electrical Maintenance Engineer

    Hours of Work:
    Monday to Thursday, rotating 12-hour shifts, 0700 – 1700/ am and Friday pm

    Salary:
    Up to £44k + Bonus

    Contract:
    FTC 12 Months

    Hawk 3 Talent are working with a Food manufacturing client who are looking to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for their Stonehouse site.

    As a Maintenance Technician, you'll enjoy being a critical part of the team and work flexibly across a variety of activities.

    You'll 'roll your sleeves up and get stuck in' wherever you're needed carrying out a variety of different tasks including routine/preventative maintenance, mechanical settings, and fault diagnosis across all the facility and systems:

    Carry out Planned Preventative maintenance on a full range of equipment within the site
    # React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected parties, and work efficiently to fix the issue
    # Management of contractors
    # On-site support and responsibility for management and escalation of high-risk situations
    # Control of contractors when required
    # Management of Critical spare parts inventory
    # Maintenance of electronic documents and databases and record accurate data on reports
    # Repairs to the building infrastructure
    # Creation of check and maintenance lists for new installations
    # Review, completion, and modification of construction plans (Management of Change) of the production facilities
    # Work with Leaders and fellow partners to ensure Food Safety and Partner Safety
    # Follow reaction plan for Food Safety, Food Quality, and customer requirement outages, be able to identify and understand customer requirements and assist in assuring proper operation

    Experience of working as a Maintenance technician is essential:
    Proven experience of being a competent qualified electrical technician
    Multi skilled in both Electrical (instrumentation) and mechanical with an electrical bias
    Experience of Planned Preventative Maintenance systems
    Fault finding on Siemens PLC and material handling Automated systems
    Experience in interpreting both Mechanical and electrical drawings
    Experience of Conveyor Maintenance, motor controllers/inverters
    Maintenance and servicing of production facilities
    Experience of fault finding on Building equipment i.e. HVAC, Dock levelers, Chillers, and general building maintenance
    Engineering Apprentice Trained
