    Description

    We are excited to announce that PM Group is seeking a talented Process Engineer with expertise in Design & Plant-based operations to contribute to a chemical site in Lancashire.


    Responsibilities:

    • Rapid development of a brownfield project to achieve a +/-30% capital cost estimate
    • Creation of essential engineering documents such as BFDs, PFDs, P&IDs, and / or adjustments to existing ones
    • Preparation of equipment lists, datasheets, and design calculations for both new and current equipment
    • Evaluating and pricing equipment, as well as presenting proposals to senior management
    • Conducting risk assessments

    Completing all necessary safety studies promptly and efficiently
    Other duties aligned with the role of a chemical engineering consultant
    Supervising the Installation & Commissioning stages


    Qualifications:

    • Candidates must possess a demonstrated track record as a process engineer, particularly in bulk chemicals
    • Familiarity with industry standards, protocols, and safety precautions is crucial, including a thorough grasp of GMP and process safety principles
    • The ideal candidates will exhibit exceptional leadership and communication abilities, along with the capacity to collaborate and engage with fellow technical engineers and project stakeholders
    • Applicants should hold a degree in chemical engineering or a related field
    • Proficiency in process modeling software, especially Aspen plus, would be advantageous

    Off-Payroll Working Rules:
    This position is considered to be outside IR35.
