Summary

You will be responsible to lead and inspire a team of high-performing data scientists and data analysts, and to provide advanced analytics and business intelligence to internal and external stakeholders.

You act as a role model, lead and support your team tomeet the objectives, and set the direction to deliver successful projects on time and to the budget using the latest tools and techniques.

Core Responsibilities

Oversee research by gaining industry knowledge and consulting with clients and create a strategic roadmap for the delivery of business intelligence and analytics projects through their entire lifecycle.

Handle multiple projects at the same time and communicate with all relevant project stakeholders.
Mentor and provide guidance to your team and potentially, other teams in your area of expertise.
Recruit, train, develop and supervise analyst-level employees.

Strategic and forward thinking of initiatives related to people, technology, budget and business within your team and design/implement solutions to meet these needs.

Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards, and performance metrics that support key business decisions.

Develop and implement quality controls and departmental standards to ensure the highest standards, organisational expectations, and regulatory compliance (ex: GDPR, etc.).

Communicate results and business impacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders within and outside of the company.
Skills and Requirements

Advanced skills with data analytics, business intelligence and data visualisation tools -Power BI & Tableau, and strong presentation skills for senior stakeholders.

Working knowledge of SQL and Data management techniques.

You're able to connect with the right complimentary people in the business to tackle new and complex business problems with a data-driven perspective.

The ability to work within a fast-paced business with demanding customers/management, whilst retaining a focus on excellence and customer satisfaction.

Strong troubleshooting skills and excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills.
Extensive experience gained from a SaaS environment.
Good project management skills with a proven track record of successful project deliveries using Agile methodologies.
Experience with machine learning and AI is a plus.
