Are you a Buyer or Senior Buyer looking for a new opportunity?

One of our key clients have approached us to support them in appointing a Senior Buyer.

In this key role you will work closely with the GSM on the roll-out of global sourcing strategies for commodities that

impact the site taking due account of stakeholder mapping, spend analysis, understanding of current and future demands, supplier improvement and cost reduction opportunities.

You will also have responsibility for leading and/or assisting with cross-functional projects, effectively managing a full range of stakeholders, driving projects successfully towards defined and agreed results, and promoting project success.

The Senior Buyer also acts as the liaison between the Sourcing, Engineering, Finance and Factory business units in support of Sourcing projects and objectives; participates in or facilitates business process improvement.

In addition to the above you must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as teamwork and interpersonal skills, to include the ability to develop high quality working relationships both internally and externally with customersand suppliers.

The role is being offered fully remote if that is your preference and paying up to £50,000 + Bonus + Benefits.
