We are looking for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and skilled Advanced Clinical Lead to join our team. Cambridge Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team provides 24/7 care to service users experiencing an acute mental health crisis as an alternative to hospital admission. The team is accredited by the Royal College of Psychiatrists (HTAS) and has a strong focus on delivering high quality care to service users and their friends and family.
The post offers the opportunity to work intensively with service users in crisis, undertaking assessments in the community and developing care plans as part of a multi disciplinary team. You will be responsible for leading care and treatment interventions and supervising junior staff in the delivery of care. The team is embedded within an integrated acute care pathway and works closely with inpatient wards and The First Response Service to deliver seamless care.
There is the opportunity for professional development in areas such as Non-Medical Prescribing and AMHP training and leadership roles.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work within the Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team which provides a mental health service seven day a week, 24 hour a day within a community setting. The Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team provide an emergency response and/or psychosocial assessment in order to identify those who present with a range of mental health problems and who are in crisis. Referral agencies include, Liaison Psychiatry, First Response Service and our adult mental health services.
