    Description

    Job Title: Acute Care Nurse

    Company: Rapid Care Unit

    The successful candidate should have previous experience in adult acute care, displaying a broad skill set in Acute Medicine. It is essential to demonstrate a proactive attitude towards learning and growth. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, aiming to enhance patient care by practicing safe and efficient nursing, aligning with organizational protocols and NMC regulations.

    • Performing clinical observations, venepuncture, cannulation, and ecg recording.
    • Providing direct patient care, administering medications, and utilizing IT tools for specialty referrals.
    • Documenting patient care and completing necessary training modules.
    • Recognizing and managing deteriorating patients effectively.
    • Collaborating with the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) to ensure holistic patient care in various specialties such as medicine, surgery, ENT, and orthopedics.

    About the Company:

You will have the opportunity to engage with a diverse MDT, including Medical and Surgical ACP's, Doctors, Consultants, and Physiotherapists/Occupational Therapists, among others. Access relevant training to enhance your professional development.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Performing clinical assessments and procedures.
    • Providing direct patient care, including medication management.
    • Utilizing IT systems for specialty referrals and documenting patient information.
    • Completing mandatory training sessions as per guidelines.
    • Promptly identifying and escalating patient deterioration.
    • Collaborating with the MDT for comprehensive patient care delivery.

    Person Specification:

    • Desirable: Relevant knowledge and years of experience.
    • Essential: Active NMC registration.
