Role: 1st Line Customer Support

Location:
Manchester, hybrid role (3 days a week in the office)


Start Date: 5th February 2024


Working Pattern:
Monday - Friday, no weekends or evenings, 37.5 hours per week


Package:
£25,000, plus a discretionary 10% bonus


We are looking for 7 x 1st Line Customer Support colleagues to be part of a new team based in our Manchester, Spinningfields office.


You'll be answering the phone to existing customers, resolving incidents and service requests, and triaging them to our other support functions if required.

You'll need to be tech savvy and have excellent verbal communication, acting professionally and displaying empathy with our customers.

You'll also have excellent written communication, to be able to capture data and have attention to detail whilst listening and actioning.

As this is a new team, although this is a hybrid role (3 days a week in the office), in the initial training period you may be required to come to the office more regularly so please keep this in mind when applying


What we are looking for:


To be successful in this position:

  • You'll have experience in telephony customer service
  • You'll have good IT skills, working with Microsoft Office and able to pick up new systems easily
  • You'll display excellent verbal and written communication
  • You'll be able to demonstrate and create empathy and will have a focus on the customer
  • You'll be able to multitask listening, recording and actioning whilst on the phone
Experience with SAP, Service Now (or other ticketing system) and understanding of government legislation regarding data protection and security is desirable
