What you will enjoy doing

The Environmental Internship will be fulltime for a period of 812 weeks starting in June or July 2023, exact timings and dates to be agreed. The role will be based at our Woking office in Surrey UK, however some flexible working arrangements could be considered
This role is project focused, supporting the Global Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ) team
Your duties will include supporting our environmental Key Performance Indicators (KPI), monthly and annual, data collection processes with the ability to build standard reports for analysing data, and identifying trends and outliers in existing data
In addition, you will work on projects to develop answers to new questions received from external sustainability questionnaires
You will also develop environmental management standards in a range of topics such as environmental management, environmental impacts assessment, water, waste and air emission management practices
Furthermore, you will be reviewing and combining existing internal and industry standards as well as a regular review and followup of global environmental incident reports in collaboration with global SHEQ staff

What makes you great

You are pursuing or hold a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering or similar
In addition, you have excellent communication skills, including in written and verbal communication
You have good analytical skills and are proficient in the use of Excel
