Business Accounting Specialist

What you will enjoy doing

You will be responsible for supporting the statutory account process by dealing directly with the external audit team and the cosec team to align responsibilities and timelines
Utilise the resource in the team to ensure deadlines are met
You will support the group external audit to ensure we meet group deadlines and provide deliverables to the external audit team timely and accurately
To develop the relationship with our external auditors
As part of this role, you will deliver on ad hoc projects in relation to restructures, reporting platform changes for example
You will be responsible for ensuring SOX compliance and work with the Internal Controls team to implement new control requirements and changes

What makes you great

Excellent technical accounting skills is essential to this role
Preferably previous experience with auditors as a client or practise background
You will have excellent communication skills
Understanding how to implement business process improvement
Knowledge of SAP preferred
You will hold CIMA, ACA, ACCA or other recognised accounting qualification
