Job Description:


Working hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.

Hybrid working is available - 2 days in the office, 3 days working from home.


You will be working as part of a small friendly team who are responsible for processing expenses across all Eurofins UK entities.


Within this role you will be responsible for:

  • Processing new starters and leavers information in the expenses system
  • Downloading credit card statements and reconciling with employee claims.
  • Updating and maintaining employee records with changes
  • Keeping master data information up to date
  • Check and validate expense claims in line with company policy and HMRC regulations
  • Generate reports for payments to be made within set deadlines
  • Point of contact for employee enquiries, including training on the expenses system
  • Ensure procedures are compliant with legal and audit requirements
  • Following up employee queries and ownership of adhoc jobs to help the team
  • Administration of our travel portal and setting up new users.

Qualifications:


  • Previous experience working in a similar environment, i.e. high volumes of processing documents (e.g., previous accounts payable experience)
  • Knowledge of HMRC expenses and benefit entitlements would be advantageous but not essential
  • Experience working with a computerised system
  • Good attention to detail
  • Selfsufficient and able to prioritise own work
  • Can work to strict timelines to ensure deadlines are meet
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages
  • Confident with the ability to communicate and engage at all levels, both written and verbal
  • A desire to thrive in a role that requires a positive, proactive, and flexible attitude towards change
  • Able to work in a secure and confidential environment
  • Willing to offer occasional flexibility in your hours of work where necessary to meet deadlines
