The ELFS Payroll Service operator is a vitally important role to the NHS workforce, by helping to ensure they are paid correctly.
We want someone proactive to join our very busy team to help ensure we process salary payments accurately and on time.

You'll support the Payroll Services Department by receiving and answering queries from our nationwide payroll client base. Our second line support team will be available support, investigate and respond to more complex issues.
Ensuring excellent customer service is a key driver in this role, your input will have a major influence on each employee experience.
Using our computerised systems, you'll manage and process a wide range of pay affecting data, support will be available to assist you with prioritising your work and developing your potential.

The Service Desk Operator is responsible for providing front-line support to Payroll Client organisations.They will answer and respond to queries, both basic and complex, ensuring that all queries are logged in a timely manner.
They will also assist departmental Team Leaders by sorting, processing and inputting of different requests on the relevant CRM system accurately and within specified deadlines.
In addition, the Service Desk Operator will maintain an effective working relationship with other members of the section and other officers of the Trust.
They will also provide ad hoc administrative support organising incoming and outgoing post, filing manual time sheets & expense claims, and preparing filing documentation that require electronic scanning.
They will adopt a flexible work approach, which may involve assisting colleagues in covering for any absences and being available between the hours of 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday.
Finally, the Service Desk Operator will attend ELFS Payroll internal training sessions to develop a good knowledge of all communication and ESR relevant processes.
Overall, the Service Desk Operator is a responsible and varied role that requires a high level of attention to detail and customer service skills.
