Are you passionate about helping young children with special educational needs (SEN) achieve their full potential? Do you have experience working with children in an early years setting? If so, we want to hear from you
We are currently seeking an Early Year SEN Teaching Assistant to join a progressive SEN school in Lambeth.

As part of an energetic team, you will support the academic and personal development of young students with additional needs, and help them to overcome their challenges and flourish in a safe and nurturing environment.

As an Early Year SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing 1:1 support to students with SEN
  • Encouraging all students to learn and motivating them to reach their maximum potential
  • Supporting teachers in managing classroom behavior and maintaining a safe learning environment
  • Assisting with the planning and delivery of lessons and activities tailored to the needs of individual students
  • Communicating effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for students

To be considered for the role, you must:

  • Have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • Have experience working with young children with SEN in an early years setting
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Be adaptable, enthusiastic, and enjoy working with young people of all backgrounds
