    Description

    Key responsibilities:

    • You will be part of the senior management team and take ownership of the origination, structuring, and deal execution across Bridging Finance.
    • You will proactively seek new business opportunities focused on Bridging Finance.
    • You will be responsible for building out and managing the bridging team in alignment with the company's growth plans.
    • Conducting full due diligence on proposals, including financial review of the creditworthiness of applicants:
      • Understanding construction types and investment strategies
      • Knowledge of bridging appraisals and cash flows
      • Familiarity with preparing lending Heads of Terms
      • Proficiency in reviewing and creating appropriate financial models
    • Presentation to key stakeholders:
      • Creating financial models based on the client's initial appraisals and validating costs and returns profile
      • Preparing and presenting credit papers, and addressing queries and issues raised at the credit committee
    • Reviewing reports from professional advisers:
      • Working with Surveyors, Solicitors, Valuers, and other relevant professionals
    • Comprehensive knowledge of facility letters and other finance documents (debenture, legal charge, guarantee, etc.) and the capability to negotiate these documents:
      • Managing the legal process efficiently
      • Finding solutions when challenges arise
    • Ensuring thorough review of pipeline business and updating CRM systems.
    • Adhering to all compliance requirements within the business.

    Required skills and experience:

    • Proven track record in originating Bridging Finance opportunities.
    • Prior management experience or readiness to embrace management responsibilities in this position.
    • The ability to work effectively under pressure.
    • A highly skilled communicator with exceptional written and presentation abilities.
    • Flexibility in working patterns – involving travel.
    • A positive and determined attitude.
    • Proficiency in IT – familiar with MS Office and CRM systems.
    • A high level of commercial acumen and strong negotiation skills.
    • Attentive to details.
    • Proficient in Excel and modeling skills, with the ability to analyze existing client models.
    • Understanding of real estate debt legal documents and legal procedures.
