Job description

We're at the top of our game - now it's your turn

To support the continued growth of Hitachi Construction Machinery UK Ltd (HCMUK), we are looking for a
Paint Room Operative to join our
Production Team based at our
Hebburn Depot.

The basic hours of the role are currently 7:00 to 16:30 Monday-Thursday and 7:00 to 12:15 Friday working 40 hours per week.

Overtime and some weekend working can be expected.

Your duties will include:

Set up painting equipment.
Sand down and prepare bodywork of machine excavators.
Select, match and mix paint colours.
Carry out quality checks.
Cleaning and maintaining equipment.
Maintain inventory and stock levels.
Liaise with internal departments to discuss customer requirements.
General Housekeeping of the Paint Shop.
