    Support Services Team Leader

    Office Based at Bircham Newton. This role can only be worked on site.

    Monday - Thursday pm 1 hr lunch

    Friday pm 1 hr lunch

    Free lunch & free parking.

    The Support services Team Leader provides leadership to a team of Support Services Administrators, who provide the essential administration support to the college. This is to ensure all core processes, learner information and course processing requirements are met.

    Role Purpose

    The NCC Support Services Team Leader provides leadership to a team of Support Services Administrators, providing the essential administration support to the College, ensuring core processes, learner information and course processing requirements are met.

    Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

    Line Manage a team of administrators to ensure that effective and efficient administration support is delivered in line with CITB and NCC policies and procedures and that work is compliant with any certification scheme, awarding organisation and other audit requirements
    Work with the Administration Manager and other Team Leaders to ensure that standard administrative processes, procedures and work instructions are in place and agreed. Ensure compliance of agreed standard processes and any changes to processes are made with the correct consultation and/or approval.
    Continually evaluate, train, coach, develop and continually improve the administration team to ensure full cover is available by a cross-trained team.
    Ensure learner information and tracking is accurate and timely to support other NCC teams and colleagues
    Work with CITB colleagues to ensure the administration team and functions meet the needs of the standards required by the College Leadership Team as measured against the Ofsted Inspection Framework
    Take responsibility for one's own and other colleagues' H&S and support the environmental initiatives of the business.

Candidates must be willing to undergo the requisite pre-employment vetting checks and procedures, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service. An enhanced DBS is required for this post.
