    Description

    We are looking for a talented Systems Engineer Manager to join Marshall, an independent, family-owned British company established in 1909, with a proud history of assisting customers in moving forward. The company is currently based in Cambridge and will be relocating to Alconbury by the end of 2025. Here is what we offer:

    About the Role:

    We need a high-performing Systems Engineer Manager who wants to advance in a dynamic environment filled with projects and where you will engage in the entire engineering lifecycle, from concept design to manufacturing and support. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Promoting Systems Engineering implementation within the Marshall Engineering function.
    • Demonstrating deep knowledge of standards and specifications related to Systems Engineering.
    • Utilizing practical Systems Engineering techniques to aid projects and business growth activities.
    • Leading teams in Systems Engineering implementation by creating Systems Engineering Management Plans, System Breakdowns, and Architectures.
    • Applying and enhancing the Marshall Business Management System (BMS) procedures in your work.
    • Collaborating efficiently across different teams to deliver performance collaboratively.
    • Introducing new ideas to enhance engineering quality, productivity, and delivery timeliness.
    • Establishing and enforcing standards, ensuring design solutions adhere to regulatory requirements, specifications, quality, and certification within set schedules and budgets.
    • Serving as a project integrator and liaison between project management and engineering teams.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
    • Capability to apply expertise across a wide array of projects.
    • Ideally, hold a degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics with relevant experience.
    • Familiarity with the market where Marshall operates, including competitors, suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies.
    • Experience in planning and executing complex tasks within deadlines and budgets.
    • Proficient in product safety environments.
