40 hours per week - between the hours of 8am to 7.30pm Tuesday to Friday and Saturday 8am to 4.30pm.

£12.00 per hour

We are recruiting for an experienced and highly motivated Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join our award-winning team.

If you are focused on providing on high quality service to patients and want to start a career at an ambitious private GP and consultant medical practice then this opportunity is for you.

This role incorporates HCA skills such as phlebotomy, you will greet patients to make them feel welcome.

You will work closely with our doctors in providing medical examinations, where you will carry out BP, height, weight, spirometry and take blood.

Experience in performing ECG's, vaccination administration and chaperoning is desirable.


Some key responsibilities:

  • New patient health checks and health screens
  • ECG recording
  • Phlebotomy
  • Spirometry
  • Chaperoning duties
  • Downloading of images from ultrasound clinics
  • Processing and management of laboratory samples requested by GPs/nurses
  • Sterilising, cleansing and maintenance of surgical and medical equipment
  • Vaccine/cold chain storage, monitoring and recording
  • Surgical/medical equipment and vaccine restocking and stock rotation

Pay:
£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
