Description
Job Purpose
Provide leadership for the development and management of planning policy for East Ayrshire.
To lead the preparation, adoption and implementation of the local development plan and associated policy to ensure the delivery of successful outcomes for communities and businesses, in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of key Council objectives; specifically in relation to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement and Best Value.

Responsibilities
This is a full time position and admin base is Opera House, John Finnie Street, Kilmarnock.
The hours of work are 35 per week working;
Monday - Thursday 9.00am - 5.00pm and
Friday 9.00am - 4.00pm
The salary for this post is £51,233 - £55,983
The workstyle for this post is Mobile % of your time in an office or other work location.
You will work at your administrative base or another agreed office location between 1 to 2.5 days per week and the remainder of the week at home or other work locations as required.
