    Who you'll be supporting & more about the role: This is an excellent opportunity to assist and support the Service Leader Level 3 (Manager), whilst developing your own management skills. Deputising throughout and stepping up when the Service Leader is not there. The role will involve planning rotas, having meetings with local authorities, , motivating the staff team, holding regular catch up meetings with them, as well as day to day contact with the people we support, (your office door is usually open) understanding their needs, championing the people we support's rights and ensuring we all deliver our best lives possible mission Community Integrated Care VideoThe services are next door to one another, located near to the beach, on the east side of Hayling Island. There are two 5 bed bungalows, where the wonderful and unique people we support live. They cannot wait to meet you, and their opinions are paramount to the decision making in the recruitment process. The team of amazing support workers are trained to our usual high standard, along with specialist person specific training too (we can tell you more about this when we meet you). We do everything in our power, to upskill our teams, and develop their confidence. This so that they and you, can flourish in your roles, and will be able to provide the right support to our wonderful people. You will also have experience working with people supported who present behaviours that require intensive support planning and management to ensure their safety and quality of life at all times.
    In addition you will be comfortable using basic IT systems that are required within the role - training can be offered to support this area. Ideally, you will also hold a professional qualification in Health and Social Care, i.e. Nurse, Social Worker, SVQ Level 3 plus supervisory units (Scotland) / Care Management Level 3 (England). However, if you don't, then as long as you would be willing to complete your level 3, then we will support you throughout Your values: With experience working and leading within a health or social care setting, you will have an upbeat positive manner, as well as having a genuine passion for supporting people to become a part of their local and wider community.
