    Pareto are currently looking for a ShiftEngineer to join us on a permanent basis.

    We arelooking for the most vibrant exciting enthusiastic candidate. Wewant team members to be outgoing customer focused always willing tohelp and always willing to own a problem to completion.

    The person needs to be a team player who willalways go above and beyond to achieve.

    They willalways support the customer in every action.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    • Overall responsibility for timely completion of allmaintenance and reactive tasks associated with client assets. Thefirst line of response for all associated M&E and Fabricissues.
    • Carry out regular and periodicinspections (including all statutory mandatory requirements andinsurance inspections) to maintain the efficiency and safety ofM&E installations. Liaise with client over specificrequirements.
    • Maintain records andcomputerbased record management systems to agreed standardsincluding statutory testing and inspection technical records filesdiaries drawings and reports.
    • Carry out allnecessary maintenance works on M&E services andinstallations including electrical systems heating and hot waterinstallations fire alarms and security systems works machines liftsand any other relevant systems etc.
    • Ensureworks are completed to a high standard reporting back at regularintervals to the Pareto FM Engineering Supervisor and clientelected liaison.
    • Liaise with the landlord onissues within the clients demise
    • Support thearrangements in place to enable subcontractors to undertake routineand emergency breakdown maintenance both in and out of hours.
    • Assist with the preparation delegated plannedmaintenance projects. Prepare schedules and specifications andplace orders.
    • Ensure all job tickets areupdated on site within the CAFM system including any paperwork.
    • Where requested provide technical M&Eadvice and support to the client.
    • Liaise withother professionals undertaking project work contribute site andmaintenance information where required.
    • Liaise with the client and other Pareto FM staff todevelop and disseminate best practice in M&E maintenanceand procedures.
    • Liaise with and participatein site and property teams and provide technical input in otherareas e.g. security health and safety risk assessments utilityinfrastructures counter disaster planning and other appropriateinitiatives.
    • With the client ensure theeffective implementation of the Asset Management Plan to inform theplanning and management of works across the estate.
    • Undertake other works of a similar nature as required anddirected by the client and Pareto FM EngineeringSupervisor.
    • Assist and escort contractorengineers whilst they are on site.
    • Bethe goto person for the client when anissue arises.

    KeySkills:

    • Indepthknowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering.
    • Must be able to work unsupervised to a highquality.
    • Able to design new systems andadditions to existing installations.
    • Must befamiliar with the general risks and hazards associated withbuilding work including asbestos.
    • Minimum ofL8 Awareness formal training.
    • A solidunderstanding of legal compliance; as well as how to achieve andmaintain it to a high standard.
    • Greatcommunicator for both internal and externalstakeholders.
    • Have a good eye for innovationand improvement of existing systems and processes.
    • Must be able to use Microsoft Windows based systems
