- Identify target new business prospects, map companies, and target key individuals. Manage CRM data.
- Reach out to prospect contacts, build relationships, build trust, discover needs.
- Present solutions, build value proposition, collaborate with internal teams to build proposition and present. Respond to RFPs.
- Propose commercial terms for a viable solution, negotiate terms.
- Close business to contract signature, handover to deployment teams.
- Manage existing business accounts. Maintain relationships.
- A sales "hunter" or "farmer" with a proven track record of successful performance in new and existing business development of complex Enterprise software and HR solutions.
- Extensive contacts and relationships at decision-making level within the HR, Sales, Marketing, and Commercial departments within Corporate Enterprises of 3,000 employees and above within the UK and/or Nordics.
- Rain maker responsible for actively helping to grow the market share with prospects with a consistent track record of achieving/over-achieving sales objectives.
- Broad, general knowledge of the enterprise HR, people development, training, and software sector, ideally with an understanding of LES and associated support systems and how these solutions can benefit client business performance.
- Analytical thinking: Sees causal relationships, and systematically breaks apart complex problems.
- Sound understanding of financial management principles.
- Demonstrates flexibility when applying rules or procedures to a particular situation, adapting to meet the larger objectives of the organization. Adapts personal or corporate strategies to the needs of the situation.

About the Role:
Reporting to the BU Director, the Global Account Manager (GAM) will be responsible for building new revenue-generating relationships with key target clients in sectors such as Telecom, IT, Pharmaceutical, Financial Services, and Utilities. The majority of the activity will be direct new business sales, in some instances the GAM will be supporting partners. A GAM can also be responsible for renewal of existing accounts and business, protecting revenue, maintaining and developing existing relationships, and upselling existing accounts. The GAM will be selling the complex value propositions from the CrossKnowledge digital learning portfolio including an app ecosystem, learning experience platform, and content.
