An opportunity has arisen for a 4 month secondment opportunity within our Nursing and Quality Directorate at Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust for a Patient Safety, Nursing and Compliance Senior Manager.

The Post holder will be an exceptional leader with in-depth knowledge of governance and assurance mechanisms and will lead on monitoring standards of a range of clinical governance, clinical effectiveness and patient safety activity, in liaison with other multidisciplinary professionals and speciality leads within the team.

They will work collaboratively with the Deputy Director of Nursing, Allied Health and Social Care Professionals, divisional manager managers, governance and education teams to provide seamless pathways of care and ensure a positive safety and team culture.

The aim of the role is to enhance the quality and safety of care, showing leadership in the management of risk within the department and achieve consistency in practice, high standards of care and innovation with a strong patient safety focus.

The post holder will support and contribute to the department's quality priorities - ensuring they are understood and translated across a range of teams and professional groups.

Masters level qualification in appropriate health related subject or equivalent experience
Clinically registered with current registration with a professional body ie NMC/HCPC
Expert level knowledge in Clinical risk and Quality Improvement
Able to demonstrate in depth knowledge of related health policy (CQC requirements/PSIRF) and its application in practice

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate at local, regional and national level
