    Band 5 Staff Nurse- In-patient acute Dialysis

    A vacancy has arisen for a Band 5 Registered Nurse in the In-patient Dialysis Unit, situated at Royal Free London NHS Foundation in Hampstead.

    The hospital is very near to the tube and bus services.
    Experience of working in a dialysis setting is desirable but other relevant experience will be considered.

    Emphasis is placed on professional development, teamwork and clinical excellence and is all supported and encouraged on-site and through an educational network at the Royal Free Hospital.

    We can offer a structured career pathway with in-service training programs and clinical competencies.

    This post offers the opportunity to develop insight and gain knowledge and new clinical skills in Renal Nursing in a challenging environment.

    This includes a comprehensive induction and preceptorship programme, and the opportunity to undertake postgraduate university modules in Renal Nursing. Career progression pathways allow development .

    Once competent and completed relevant trainings, there will an expectation to be included in on-call rota.

    Evidence of recent and ongoing professional development

    Post registration experience working in an acute hospital setting
    Awareness of current professional nursing issues
    Demonstrates understanding of the importance of audit/quality

    Skilled in use of computer/key board
    Knowledge of risk management
    Aware of quality and safety standards and ward audit requirements
    To maintain a safe clinical environment conducive to patient care
