Ruscombe, Reading £20,000 - £23,500 per annum

Permanent, Full-time

Our client is looking for 6-8 months Service Desk experience for the chance to work for this global company, who will help improve your skills and training and continue to provide you with study and certification in the tech support they support.

About the role:

Working in a team of Helpdesk Support Engineers on site you will be part of the Technical Team and are responsible for providing a mixture of 1st and 2nd level helpdesk support to their customers.

Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for:
Call-logging of all incidents, queries and requests; taking notes and determining next action.

Updating and progressing outstanding calls

Call prioritisation and escalation of incidents and problems.

Experience and personal capabilities:
At least 6 months experience in a customer facing role and excellent customer service and communication skills

Must be able to quickly learn new skills and demonstrate an interest in new technologies.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail in their work

Ability to schedule tasks, work unsupervised and follow procedures

A "can do" attitude

Salary:
£20, with £3500 ontop as a shift allowance.

Shifts:

Once trained, you will be required to work a 5am to 1:30pm shift one week a month, where you would perform your job from your home, in a remote working capacity.

This shift performed one week a month, is worth an extra £3500 to your annual salary.
