Description

This post is for a Gynae-oncology Research Fellow at ST4(+) level at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The post also includes a clinical commitment to general obstetrics and gynaecology.

The Clinical Research Fellow will work on the Tier 2 on-call rota (1 in 9), and as such will take on the responsibilities associated with this role, which is equivalent to that of a ST3+ trainee in the UK.

The weekly timetable will vary from week to week.

The clinical component composing 50% may include sessions in gynae oncology outpatients, gynae oncology theatres and the emergency gynaecology assessment unit.

Research days are usually fixed and comprise 50% of the post.
