Job Overview

To work with the Design and Commercial teams on all manner of Fabric projects, for existing client and new business pitches.

Liaising with the supply base to obtain sampling in support of such projects.

To support the sourcing team in finding new sources of supply and benchmarking current commercial terms from the existing supply base.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Quality and shade matching of all supplier fabric submissions against group master standards.
Coordinate weekly testing submissions.
Liaise with suppliers to obtain costings and development samples.
Action and follow through lab dips, handlooms and sample requests with suppliers.
Liaise with suppliers managing critical path key dates.
Administer due diligence checks on fabrics.
Support the delivery of sourcing projects as directed and research new product areas.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Preferred but not essential

Technical knowledge and strong practical skills
Problemsolving skills and decisionmaking ability
Ability to work as part of a team to liaise with colleagues in other functions within the business
Strong communication skills
Ability to prioritise and to switch between different tasks as required
Organisational skills
An understanding of computer technology within the industry

Salary:
Up to £28,000.00 per year
