As a Barclays Advisory Investment Solutions Specialist within The Private Bank Wealth Management division, you will get an exciting opportunity to deepen our investment products and solutions offered across all asset classes and. You will focus on the investment needs and objectives of the Private Bank and Wealth Management client base serviced by Bankers and Investment Advisors located in the UK and across the globe, accountable for delivering Advisory Investment ideas across the platform.

• Having significant interaction with key stakeholders from across the business including the Investment strategy and product areas, Sales management, Bankers, and Investment Advisors
• Supporting a high-profile role with significant visibility on client needs and demands within the private bank and wealth business
• Contributing to Advisory idea generation, content production, product development and the ongoing enhancement of the investment proposition
• Curating a wide range of ideas contributed from various internal and external subject matter experts
• Delivering wide ranging advisory investment content through appropriate channels such as Global Market Call, local banker team meetings, larger business investment briefings
• Coordinating periodic meetings with stakeholders to discuss market trends, tactical and thematic ideas
• Leveraging Barclays' discipline, process, and track record with an aim to formulate 'consensus views' on 'high conviction calls'
• Formulating high level messages to Private bankers and advisors which will help them in creating the best strategies and solutions for ultra-high net worth clients
What we're looking for:
• Excellent Relationship skills and experience advising on a diverse range of wealth management solutions, expertise with investments across multiple asset classes
• Experience of the Financial Services industry in the areas of Retail regulated products and services to mass market and high net worth customers and asset management
• Excellent knowledge of macro-economics, portfolio construction and a range of solutions to execute implementation, solid grasp of asset allocation is also preferable
• A highly commercial aptitude and ability to drive ideas and product campaigns
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Relevant academic and professional qualifications with a constructive approach and the ability to relate to and accommodate a diverse range of personalities
• Deep understanding of the investment proposition, focusing on direct interactions with HNW, UHNW and Family Office clients
• Experience in leading material contributions to both investment and business initiatives, direct interactions with business management and a broad range of cross functional colleagues
• Experience with developing and managing investment products and services and preferably be holding a regulatory qualification

In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as; a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links. With a population of around 5000 staff the atmosphere is second to none with a real buzz being created around the offices within.
