- Manage the medical room including care of sick and injured individuals anywhere on the premises.

- Review, monitor and record the health status of all pupils to plan, deliver and evaluate care plans to enable them to attend and benefit from school.

- Ensure effective information sharing with relevant staff.
- Contacting parents as appropriate and ensuring thorough records are kept of conversations and any action taken.
- Complete accident reports and advising necessary action to be taken.
- Ensure confidentiality of student and staff information.
- Liaise with public health teams.
- To ensure statutory CPD for staff is delivered.
- Ensure that the medical room, facilities and first aid provision are maintained to a high standard.
- Maintain and improve professional qualifications, knowledge, and competence and keep up to date withprofessional, clinical, and nursing issues relevant to work in schools.
