    Are you an experienced Audit and Accounts professional looking to take the next step in your career? Our client, a prestigious Top 30 Accountancy Practice based in Norwich, is seeking a talented individual to join their team as an Audit and Accounts Senior.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead and manage audit engagements, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulations.
    • Prepare and review statutory accounts and financial statements for a diverse portfolio of clients.
    • Conduct comprehensive audit planning, risk assessment, and budgeting.
    • Provide valuable insights and recommendations to clients, contributing to their business growth and financial performance.
    • Supervise and mentor junior team members, offering guidance and support as needed.
    • Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and delivering exceptional client service.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, accounting regulations, and changes in auditing standards.

    Requirements:

    • ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent, with significant experience in an accountancy practice environment.
    • Proven experience in leading and managing audit engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting.
    • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards (UK GAAP) and auditing standards (ISA).
    • Excellent understanding of financial reporting and statutory requirements.
    • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
    • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
    • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to meet deadlines.
