    POSITION OVERVIEW:

    The Snr Sales Excellence Manager (SEM) supports the Director of Sales Excellence (DSE) in processes essential to sales force productivity.

    These include designing, implementing, monitoring programs to improve skills and coaching including planning, performance reporting, sales process optimization, sales training, sales program implementation, planning and execution of sales meetings

    The SEM is responsible for driving the overall productivity and effectiveness of the field sales organization.

    Reporting to the DSE, their primary responsibility is to ensure the commercial success of the Country Managers and International business and in doing so will work closely with cross functional teams and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for sales & marketing initiatives

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES.


    • Proactively identifies opportunities for sales skills and competencies improvement. Works closely with sales management to inspect sales team quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement. Facilitates successful implementation of new programs through the sales organization by ensuring a well-defined and understood competencies are in place. Fosters an organization of continuous process improvement.


    • Identifies opportunities for investments in enabling technologies in support of sales organization capabilities and skills.


    • Implements enabling technologies, such as competency framework programs, to field sales teams and beyond. Monitors the assigned sales organization's compliance with required standards and development towards those standards . Works closely with sales management to enable them to deliver the Sales Excellence programmes and continuous improvement.


    • Proactively monitors and strives to develop high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization's planning efforts.


    • Makes recommendations for evolving sales roles or business models, in order to maximize sales productivity.


    • Works closely with senior sales leadership to define the optimal performance environment and performance management programs required to ensure sales organization success.


    • Working closely with sales leadership and the Director of Sales Excellence, establishes a sales force training plan focused on developing and reinforcing critical sales competencies. Prioritizes training objectives for selling, sales management, and sales support roles


    • Plays a key role in planning and managing Sales Excellence programme for the European Sales Meetings.


    • Builds peer support and strong internal-company relationships with other key management personnel.

    ACCOUNTABILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES


    • Achievement of sales, profit, and strategic objectives of the International business.


    • Accountable for the on-time implementation of sales organization performance objectives.


    • Accountable for the thorough implementation of sales organization-impacting initiatives.


    • Responsible for the efficient allocation of technology, support, training and usage of resources impacting the sales organization.


    • Accountable for accurate and on-time reporting essential for sales organization effectiveness.

    ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT


    • Reports to the Director of Sales Excellence, International


    • Works closely with all members of International Marketing & Sales Excellence team to achieve team goals


    • Fosters close, cooperative relationships with Country Managers, sales management, and cross functional leadership.

    QUALIFICATIONS


    • Four-year university/college degree from an accredited institution; Masters in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent preferred.


    • Three years of sales or sales management experience in a MedTech, pharmaceutical or business-to-business sales environment.


    • Sales Excellence and/or Sales Training Experience strongly preferred


    • Competent in the use of Salesforce Lightening or other CRM


    • Demonstrated proficiency managing analytically rigorous initiatives.


    • High level of PC proficiency (Excel, Power BI etc)

    ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS


    • This position requires extensive travel.

    NOTE: This position is eligible for hybrid working arrangements (requires on-site work from an Insulet office at least 1x/week; may work remotely other days). #LI-Hybrid
